Dr Geoff Donald is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in surgeries related to the hip, knee, paediatric, trauma-fracture, and shoulder. He practices in Woody Point, Brisbane.
Dr Donald holds the following qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 1996, and a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australia, in 2005. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA) and has completed an Advanced Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Dr Donald's interests lie in various areas, including limb reconstruction and lengthening, general paediatrics, hip conditions (such as Perthes' Disease, Developmental Dysplasia, and Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis), and paediatric feet conditions (like Club Foot and Flat Foot). Additionally, he has experience with orthopaedic infections, general orthopaedic conditions, and trauma fractures/dislocations.
Dr Geoff Donald is a member of professional organizations such as the Australian Orthopaedic (AO) Faculty, Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (APOS), Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA), Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS), Australian Limb Lengthening and Reconstructive Society (ALLARS), and the Board of Studies (Training Committee AOA).
