Dr Jackson completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales in 1995. He then went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Adult Medicine Division, in Australia in 2003. Following this, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2004.
