A/Prof Daniel Fick is a prominent orthopaedic surgeon based in Perth, Western Australia. He specializes in a broad range of orthopaedic procedures, including ligament reconstruction for sports injuries, hip resurfacing, and revision joint surgery for mature patients. Dan's expertise and experience enable him to provide optimal care that caters to each patient's unique requirements.
Having graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia, Dan completed his surgical training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Western Australia. He also received a fellowship from the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in the United Kingdom, furthering his surgical training. In addition to his clinical work, Dan serves as an adjunct professor of computer science and engineering at Curtin University, where he shares his knowledge and skills with the next generation of surgeons.
In 2015, Dan co-founded the Australian Institute of Robotic Orthopaedics, a biotechnology and research organization dedicated to advancing patient care through technological and scientific advances. He is globally recognized for his contribution to complex and challenging orthopaedic cases and frequently lectures worldwide.
