Dr Chandan Jadhav

Dr. Chandan Jadhav is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon with over a decade of clinical practice. He holds dual qualifications as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon by the National Medical Council, India. Dr. Jadhav is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons (ISRM), and the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine (CBAM). Renowned for his meticulous precision and calm demeanour, Dr. Jadhav specialises in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, including Head and Neck, Breast Cancer Reconstructions, Skin Cancer Surgery, Trauma and Limb Reconstructions, and Aesthetic Face, Breast, and Body surgeries. Since 2020, he has been a Senior Medical Officer at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), where he pioneered Lymphedema Microsurgical services, the first of its kind in Queensland. Dr. Jadhav is deeply committed to education, serving as a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and facilitating trainee workshops endorsed by RACS and ASPS. He is also an editorial board member for Burns & Trauma and has chaired international scientific sessions. His deep knowledge and surgical techniques are matched only by his commitment to excellence and patient care. Outside of hospital he is a devoted family man and has keen interest in racket sports. His notable achievements include being awarded the Guest of Honour by the Mayor of Brisbane in 2019 and participating in Smile Train charity missions. Dr. Jadhav completed his medical training in India and advanced fellowships in Australia, specialising in Breast and Reconstructive Microsurgery, Hand and Wrist Surgery, and Paediatric Plastic Surgery.
