Dr Kim Latendresse

Dr Kim Latendresse is an esteemed orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, and elbow surgeries. He currently practices at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital in Birtinya, Sunshine Coast.

After completing his medical degree and specialist training in orthopaedic surgery in Canada, Dr Latendresse pursued two Clinical Fellowships in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He spent one year at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and another year at Sydney Hospital and St. Luke’s Private Hospital in NSW.

In 2006, Dr Latendresse moved to the Sunshine Coast after working as a consultant for four years in one of Canada's largest trauma centers and has been a staff specialist at Nambour General Hospital for the last seven years. He provides specialised attention to upper extremity surgeries, including trauma and reconstruction, and is also on call to deal with general orthopaedic traumas.

Dr Latendresse holds Fellowships from both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is deeply committed to education and serves as the Discipline Academic Advisor for the University of Queensland medical students at Nambour. Furthermore, he is the Director of Training for the Advanced Trainees in Orthopaedics at Nambour General Hospital.

Dr Latendresse is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and looks forward to serving patients with hand, wrist, and elbow disorders. He is dedicated to providing personalized and detailed care to help his patients live pain-free lives.
