Dr Jeannine Mcmanus

Dr. Jeannine McManus is a highly skilled Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who completed her medical education at the University of Queensland. Following her medical education, she pursued medical residency at the Royal Brisbane and Princess Alexandra Hospitals where she developed her competency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her training exposed her to skin cancer resection and reconstruction, lower limb trauma reconstruction, different reconstruction strategies following head and neck cancer, as well as breast surgery. Dr. McManus has been recognized for her abilities, as she was awarded The Mervyn Neely Memorial Award for Excellence in Surgical Teaching through the University Qld Medical School. Dr. McManus furthered her education and completed a Masters of Public Health through the University of Queensland as well as a Masters of Surgery through the University of Sydney.

Dr. McManus relocated to the Sunshine Coast where she is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH). Her expertise has made a significant contribution to patient care and educating upcoming Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons as she is the supervisor of training for the Plastic Surgery unit at SCUH. Dr. McManus has a natural ability to connect with her patients and provides compassionate healthcare. Her experience, independence and innovation in her practice, results in the best outcomes for her patients.

Dr. McManus’s accreditations include the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Her private practice is conducted via Plastic Surgery Queensland - Sunshine Coast, where she consults and operates at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
