Dr Ben McArdle

Dr Ben McArdle is a respected Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon who has been serving the Sunshine Coast community for several years. Raised and educated in South East Queensland, Dr McArdle went on to study Medicine at the prestigious University of Queensland. During his academic training, he gained invaluable experience in tertiary paediatric ENT medical and surgical procedures at Westmead Children’s Hospital and The Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

Dr McArdle honed his skills in rhinology, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and anterior skull base surgical techniques during his time at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. After obtaining his specialist qualification in Australia, he furthered his knowledge with 12 months of advanced rhinology training at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada.

Today, Dr McArdle works tirelessly for his patients in the public and private sectors, serving as an ENT surgeon at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), Nambour Selangor Private Hospital, and the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital (SCUPH). In addition to his medical practice, Dr McArdle is involved in various charities, local health initiatives, and outreach missions to remote communities throughout the Pacific region through the Federal Government's Pacific Island Project (AUSAID). Dr McArdle continues to elevate the standards of ENT care in his local community through innovation, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
