Dr Walid Barto

Dr. Walid Bart is a highly accomplished General and Colorectal Surgeon with extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic cancer surgery, laparoscopic hernia surgery, and trans-anal endoscopic micro-surgery (TEMS). Dr. Bart received his medical degree from the prestigious University of Sydney and went on to complete his General Surgical Training at St Vincent's Hospital, where he was awarded the Royal Australasian College Fellowship in 2009.

After completing his surgical training, Dr. Bart pursued additional training in Colorectal Surgery at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Westmead Hospital as a fellow of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has contributed substantially to the medical community by publishing on modern surgical instrument design and even holds a patent for a groundbreaking laparoscopic instrument.

Dr. Bart's commitment to surgical education is demonstrated by his appointment as an Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and more recently as a Lecturer at the University of Sydney. Dr. Bart is a consultant surgeon at several prominent medical institutions, including Nepean Private Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, Castle Hill Day Surgery, The Surgery Centre-Hurtsville and Nepean Public Hospital.
