Prof Hosen Kiat

After graduating from Monash University, Prof Kiat completed his medical internship and residency at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He further pursued his training in general, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiology at the Alfred and Austin Hospitals in Melbourne, as well as Westmead Hospital in Sydney.

In pursuit of his passion for research, Prof Kiat undertook a research fellowship and served as a full-time staff cardiologist and Director of Cardiac Imaging Research at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles. During his tenure, he successfully secured research grants totaling several million dollars and published over 200 research papers focusing on cardiovascular medicine.

Prof Kiat is a Diplomate of American Boards in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Medicine, and Cardiovascular Disease - Sub-specialty Cardiac CT.
