Dr Fiona Foo is a highly accomplished General and Interventional Cardiologist with extensive experience in the field. Originally from Malaysia, she is currently based in Sydney, Australia. Dr Foo completed her Medical degree with Honours at the University of Western Australia in 2001. She then underwent physician training at Concord Hospital in NSW, Australia, where she specialised in Advanced Adult Cardiology. In 2008, she obtained the prestigious FRACP qualification in Cardiology.
To further enhance her skills in Interventional Cardiology, Dr Foo pursued a fellowship year at The University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Canada. She also gained valuable experience in interventional cardiology at The Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. This allowed her to treat complex cases and refine her clinical expertise, enabling her to tackle any cardiovascular challenge confidently.
Since her return to New South Wales in 2011, Dr Foo has become a highly respected figure in the field of Cardiology. Her areas of clinical interest include Coronary and Structural Heart Intervention. She is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach towards her patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care.
Dr Foo's commitment to her profession is evident through her numerous papers and presentations at national and international conferences.
