Vladimir Bolshinsky is a highly skilled and experienced colorectal surgeon who is dedicated to providing world-class care to patients in the Peninsula region. Born and raised in Melbourne, he graduated with a medical degree from Monash University in 2006 and completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy at The University of Melbourne in 2009. He continued his education and training in General Surgical in Victoria, obtaining a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2014. Vladimir advanced his subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery, undertaking four additional years of training, and was employed by the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA as a Colorectal Fellow and subsequently as a Colorectal Staff Surgeon between 2017 and 2019.
As a lifelong learner, Vladimir has completed a Master of Surgery from the University of Melbourne and has published several book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. He is a member of highly acclaimed international societies such as ASCRS, RACS, GESA, Cleveland Clinic Alumni, and has been awarded several prizes. Vladimir's commitment to his community is evident through his active involvement as a local member, and as a proud family man, he cherishes his role as a father to two beautiful young children and a supportive partner to his wife, an Endocrine Surgeon.
