Dr Vivienne Moult

Dr. Vivienne Moult is a highly qualified and experienced Vascular Surgeon, with areas of special interest including peripheral arterial disease, complex revascularization, and diabetic feet. She has extensive experience in all aspects of vascular surgery, including the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms, claudication, renal dialysis access, mesenteric and visceral vascular disease, venous disease, and varicose veins.

Dr. Moult completed her medical training at the University of Newcastle and worked across a diverse range of surgical specialities during her early career, including vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and intensive care. She then went on to complete her vascular training at some of Australia's leading hospitals, including Gold Coast University Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where she gained expertise in the latest endovascular techniques and open surgery.

Dr. Moult has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, and she has a passion for teaching and research. She is actively involved in the training of medical students and junior doctors at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and holds a senior lecturer position at Griffith University Medical School. Dr. Moult is also involved in ongoing research in the field of vascular surgery and has been entrusted with numerous research projects.

One of Dr. Moult's primary areas of interest is the care and treatment of diabetic foot problems and is one of the founding members for the multi-disciplinary high risk foot clinic at SCUH. This clinic has had a significant impact on reducing amputation rates, improving the quality of life for patients, and transforming the way healthcare is delivered in this field. In addition to her Hospital work, Dr. Moult also operates privately at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
