Dr Vickie Chio

Dr. Vickie Chio is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynecologist, with over a decade of experience in the field. She has a particular interest in high-risk obstetrics and is currently a staff specialist consultant at Hornsby Hospital, where she serves as a consultant in the High Risk Obstetric Clinic as well as a member of the Perinatal Ultrasound Unit and Maternal Fetal Medicine Department.

Her specialist training took place at Westmead Hospital and Nepean Hospital, where she honed her skills in obstetrics and gynecology, particularly in maternal fetal medicine. Dr. Chio's special interests include high-risk obstetrics, multiple pregnancies, medical disorders in pregnancy and pre-conception counseling. She is passionate about medical student and specialist training and serves as an examiner of the RANZCOG specialist examinations.

Aside from English, Dr. Chio also speaks Cantonese fluently and has conversational abilities in Mandarin. This makes it easier for her patients who are more comfortable conversing in Mandarin to communicate with her effectively during consultations.
