Dr Kieran McCaffrey

Dr Kieran McCaffrey is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, having trained through Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He has been appointed as a VMO at Royal North Shore, St Vincent's, The Mater and North Shore Private Hospitals.

He manages both normal and high-risk pregnancies and also has a strong interest in advanced minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. He has been awarded a Masters of Surgery by the University of Sydney and operates using the most advanced surgical equipment including the Da Vinci robotically-assisted system.

Dr McCaffrey has been trained to manage both normal or high-risk pregnancies, including for those motivated for either a vaginal birth or a caesarean section.

• Pelvic pain and endometriosis
• Menstrual disorders (including heavy bleeding, fibroids and polyps)
• Infertility (investigation and management – including ovulation induction)
• Management/Investigation of Miscarriage
• Abnormal pap smears and colposcopy
• Ovarian cysts
• Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
• Menopause, including HRT (Hormone replacement therapy)
• Utero-vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence
