Dr Timothy Cooper

Dr Cooper is an esteemed Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in private practice. With a special interest in Rhinoplasty, Face lift and Breast Surgery, Dr Cooper has developed a reputation as a highly skilled and dedicated practitioner within his field. He is affiliated with several professional societies including the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons as a corresponding member. Dr Cooper stays up-to-date with new techniques and advancements in his field by attending national and international workshops, symposiums and conferences that focus on his areas of clinical interest.

Dr Cooper's background and training are extensive. He commenced his training in General Surgery in 1986 and completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1996 at the Prince of Wales and Sydney Children's Hospitals, where he gained valuable experience in all aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr Cooper also trained at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, Cork University Hospital in Ireland, and the Davies Medical Centre in San Francisco, where he spent time training with a number of high-profile cosmetic surgeons in London, New York, and Dallas. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 1994 and the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1996.

Dr Cooper has had a successful career in academia, having been the Head of Department and Supervisor of Postgraduate Training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth and is currently a Senior Lecturer with The University of Western Australia Medical School.
