With a focus on clinical trials and local research, Dr Ross Tomlinson advocates for patients to have access to the latest treatment options. He believes in patient-centred care and works collaboratively with patients, their loved ones, and general practitioners for better outcomes. As a clinical haematologist at Icon Cancer Centre, Dr Tomlinson graduated from Bond University with MBBS in 2012 and subsequently received haematology specialist training at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Toowoomba Base Hospital. He is experienced in caring for patients with multiple malignant and non-malignant blood disorders, such as lymphoma, leukaemia, thrombosis, and haemostasis, among others.
Dr Tomlinson is keen on medical education and clinical research, holding positions at Princess Alexandra Hospital and the University of Queensland. He has published several clinical research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and his work has been presented at national and international haematology conferences. Dr Tomlinson is a FRACP and FRCPA fellow and a member of trial and research groups like the ALLG, ASH, and HSANZ, among others.
