Dr. Niroshan Muwanwella is a very skilled gastroenterologist based in Nedlands, Perth, Western Australia. He is affiliated with Hollywood Private Hospital and practices at the Riverview Endoscopy Rooms, located within the Hollywood Medical Centre.

With a primary speciality in gastroenterology and a focus on hepatology, Dr. Muwanwella has extensive experience in managing a wide range of gastroenterological conditions. Dr. Muwanwella's journey to becoming a gastroenterologist began with his medical education in Sri Lanka. In 2007, he relocated to Australia, where he completed his postgraduate training in Western Australia and obtained certification from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Driven by his dedication to providing the highest standard of care, he pursued further accreditation in gastroscopy and colonoscopy from the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). Moreover, he completed a fellowship in interventional endoscopy from both Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada. This additional training allowed Dr. Muwanwella to acquire GESA accreditation for ERCP procedures.
