Dr Nick Hartnell

With over two decades of experience, Dr Hartnell has worked in various hospitals across Australia, including Royal North Shore Hospital and Lismore Hospital. He has also trained overseas at Shriners Hospital in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Dr Hartnell's special interests include knee and hip replacement surgery, lower limb surgery, and orthopaedic oncology. He is renowned for his expertise in providing surgical and non-operative management of orthopaedic conditions for both adult and pediatric patients.

Dr Hartnell is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field and has contributed to orthopaedic research and development. He has conducted research on the use of kangaroo tendons in reconstructive surgery of the ACL and served as a medical advisor for a group promoting the only joint replacement made in Australia. He is also a founding member of the Australian Institute of Joint Replacement.

Primary practicing in Bowral, Dr Hartnell has expanded his surgical practice to other locations to ensure his patients have access to his expertise. He is associated with Campbelltown Private Hospital and Southern Highlands Private Hospital. Dr Hartnell consults from four locations, including Bowral, Camden, Moruya, and Macquarie University Hospital.
