Dr Paul Jarman

Dr. Paul Jarman is an Australian-trained Orthopaedic surgeon with over a decade of experience in the field. As an accomplished specialist, he has successfully conducted over 5000 orthopaedic procedures since relocating to the Illawarra Shoalhaven region in 2009.

Dr. Jarman completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Sydney in 1996. He further pursued his interest in Sports Orthopaedics by completing a Fellowship through the prestigious Melbourne Orthopaedic Group, where he gained extensive knowledge in conducting sports reconstruction surgeries of the shoulder and knee. He also completed a Fellowship in Knee Surgery at the Mater Hospital in Sydney, further expanding his expertise.

Notably, Dr. Jarman has visited prominent surgeons across the world to gain additional training and expertise. He is invited yearly to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, to attend the exclusive Teach the Teacher course in elbow surgery. Dr. Jarman's dedicated focus lies in primary and revision joint surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow. He possesses specific expertise in Computer-Navigated Knee Surgery and Anterior Approach Hip Surgery.

In addition to his specialization in joint surgery, Dr. Jarman has completed a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine. He extends his services to trauma surgery and arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, showcasing his versatility in the field.
