Dr Gregory Stackpool

Dr Gregory Stackpool is an Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Figtree, 2525, Wollongong. He specialises in surgeries involving the hip and knee joints. With a strong focus on adult lower limb reconstruction, Dr Stackpool has extensive experience in performing primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty procedures.

Dr Stackpool holds a Medical Degree (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002. He has received additional clinical fellowship training under the mentorship of Dr James P. Waddell MD, FRCSC, at the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Toronto and St. Michael's Hospital in Canada. He has also held an international research position at the Jo Miller Orthopaedic Research Laboratory, Montreal General Hospital, where he gained valuable insights into orthopaedic research.

As a lower limb reconstructive specialist, Dr Stackpool's areas of expertise include primary and revision hip and knee joint replacement, sports knee injuries, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, as well as advanced lower limb trauma and fracture management. He is affiliated with Wollongong Private Hospital and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients.
