Originally from Wales, Jon-Paul is a highly skilled surgeon who graduated from the University of Bristol in the UK in 1996 with an MB ChB. After completing his general surgical training and residency in hospitals across the South West of England, he received his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons. Driven by his passion for urology, Jon-Paul completed two years of research at the prestigious Bristol Urological Institute investigating bladder cancer, resulting in the award of his MD. Later on, he pursued higher urological training in Oxford, culminating in his FRCS (Urol) certification.
Following his extensive training and experience, Jon-Paul moved to Australia and completed a year-long fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where he passed the Australian Fellowship exam and was awarded his FRACS (Urol). Since 2008, he has been serving as a public practitioner at the Redcliffe Hospital and he also operates privately at the Peninsula Private Hospital and the North Lakes Day Hospital. He currently holds an Intermediate list at Redcliffe Hospital and consults with patients from his rooms at both the Peninsula Specialist Centre and the North Lakes Specialist Centre. With a wealth of expertise in urology, Jon-Paul is renowned for his commitment to the safety and well-being of his patients and is dedicated to providing them with high-quality medical care.
