Dr Jason Huang is a highly skilled and experienced gastroenterologist based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He specialises in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and is affiliated with the Gastrointestinal Specialists Brisbane Group. Dr Huang's career has been marked by a commitment to excellence in patient care and a dedication to furthering the field of gastroenterology.
After completing his general gastroenterology training at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital, Dr Huang pursued further specialization through a three-year fellowship. He spent the first year of his fellowship at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and then went on to undertake the second and third years at the prestigious H.H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Diseases Center at the University of California. During his time in the United States, Dr Huang also held a faculty position as a clinical instructor.
Dr Huang's subspecialty interests encompass a wide range of gastroenterology procedures and conditions. He has particular expertise in performing high-quality colonoscopies for bowel cancer detection and prevention. He is also proficient in managing iron-deficiency anemia, bariatric endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and reflux treatment.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Huang has made significant contributions to academia.
