Dr Ilias Kotronakis

Dr Ilias Kotronakis is an accomplished plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a passion for delivering transformative healthcare services to people in the St George area. He completed his medical studies at the prestigious University of Sydney, graduating with first-class honours, before gaining extensive surgical experience in a range of clinical settings. After successfully completing his internship, surgical residency and general surgery training at the renowned Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Dr Kotronakis was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2007 - Australia's only surgical qualification recognized by the Australian Medical Council.

Driven by a desire to continually improve his skills and knowledge, Dr Kotronakis sought further training in microsurgery at London's Charing Cross Hospital, in association with the Imperial College of Medicine. This experience gave him valuable insights into world-class surgical practices, which he has since integrated into his own work as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
