Dr Joseph Rizk

Dr Joseph Rizk is a reputable advanced Plastic Surgeon who practices in Sydney, specialising in breast, face and body surgery. Using his extensive experience and training, he has developed expertise in non-surgical cosmetic treatments like chemical peels, skin rejuvenation laser surgery, and injections. Dr Rizk has a particular passion for breast reconstruction surgery.

Dr Rizk is an Australian-trained doctor with surgical fellowships and additional training in the Dutch Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Netherlands. He has also been a Postgraduate Fellow at The Children’s Hospital Westmead. To develop his skills further, Dr Rizk visited the UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery Department, Dallas, Texas where he worked with some of the world's leading surgeons. Dr Fritz Barton refined his techniques in facial rejuvenation surgery, Dr Rod Rohrich helped refine his rhinoplasty techniques. He also acquired new and innovative options for breast reconstruction with Dr Sumeet Teotia and skin cancer facial reconstruction further refined under the tuition of Professor Jim Thornton.

Dr Rizk is a Visiting Medical Officer (Plastic Surgeon) at Westmead Public Hospital and Auburn Public Hospitals and has a clinic at the Breast Cancer Institute Westmead. His philosophy is that every patient requiring plastic surgery needs a tailored solution, unique to their presenting medical issue. He believes in improving the quality of life of the patient and sees consultations as the foundation of being an excellent Plastic Surgeon.
