Dr Frank Hsieh is a highly accomplished plastic surgeon based in Sydney. He received his medical degree from the prestigious Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. During his time as a medical student, Dr Hsieh was drawn to the intricate art and science of plastic surgery. He became involved in research focused on breast reconstruction, which has resulted in multiple international lectures, numerous scientific papers, and several accolades, including multiple best PRS research awards.
Following his medical studies, Dr Hsieh completed his plastic surgery training in Sydney and was awarded FRACS (Plast) by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Hsieh was then awarded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship, providing him with the unique opportunity to undertake a one-year fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery. During this time, he trained under the tutelage of Professor Fu-Chan Wei at the world-renowned Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan.
Dr Hsieh’s extensive training and experience allow him to specialise in several areas, including microvascular head and neck reconstruction, breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, and general/Asian aesthetic surgery. Dr Hsieh is passionate about his work, and he is committed to providing his patients with safe, reliable, and top-quality care.
Dr Hsieh has consulting rooms in Bankstown and Sydney, where he consults with his patients. He also provides surgical treatments for private patients at Strathfield Private Hospital, Castlecrag Private Hospital, and Hunters Hill Private Hospital. Additionally, Dr Hsieh provides treatment for public patients at Liverpool Hospital and Bankstown Hospital.
