Dr Gerard Connors

Dr Gerard Connors is an exceptionally skilled Interventional Cardiologist and Vascular Physician specialising in an array of cardiac and vascular treatments. He received his Honours degree from the University of Queensland and completed his Specialist training in Cardiology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr Connors furthered his expertise by completing two sub-specialty fellowships in the United States – Interventional Vascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston and Interventional Cardiology at Stony Brook University, New York.

Dr Connors' area of expertise includes coronary artery disease, vascular medicine, venous thromboembolism, peripheral artery disease, and hypertension. He has extensive experience in coronary intervention, peripheral and renal artery intervention, and renal denervation treatments for refractory hypertension.

In addition to his private practice, Dr Connors serves as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he provides consulting and interventional services. He is also associated with Greenslopes Private Hospital and regularly visits Springfield and Emerald to offer his specialised services.
