Dr Bennett Franjic is an experienced General Cardiologist specialising in Echocardiography. With years of practice in the field, he has gained expertise in cardiac disorders such as Cardiomyopathy, Valvular disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Stress Echocardiography. Dr Franjic completed his medical degree (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales and underwent training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown, Sydney, where he established his career as a Cardiologist.
Dr Franjic furthered his experience in Echocardiography at Princess Alexandra Hospital and eventually established the Cardiology Unit at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital in Brisbane. Currently, he is practicing as a Cardiologist at Ipswich Hospital and St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital. Prior to his current positions, Dr Franjic served as the Head of Cardiology at QEII Hospital and held an appointment at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Dr Franjic is proficient in a wide range of Cardiology procedures, including Stress Echo, Trans-Oesophageal Echo, Diagnostic Angiography, and Right Heart Catheterization. He is also a dedicated Clinical Teacher and was honored with the prestigious Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching by the University of Queensland Medical Society in 2011.
