Dr Megan Yap

Dr Megan Yap is a paediatrician based in North Lakes, Brisbane. She obtained her Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) in 2014, qualifying her as a specialist in paediatric medicine. Dr Yap offers general paediatric medical services for children under 16 years of age, with a particular interest in developmental paediatrics and infant development.

During her training, Dr Yap discovered her passion for paediatrics, finding great joy in helping and supporting children and families with complex medical needs or developmental issues. She is personally rewarded by assisting children in reaching their full potential and provides caring paediatric services through her interactions with both children and their families.

Dr Yap has gained extensive experience in various medical institutions. She has worked at the renowned Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane and undergone advanced training at Brisbane's Mater Children's, Royal Children's, and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospitals. Additionally, she spent six months as a senior House Officer at Temple Street Children's University Hospital in Dublin.

Prior to her medical career, Dr Yap worked as a qualified pharmacist. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and completed her Bachelor of Medicine through the University of Queensland.
