Dr Claire Nickolls

Dr. Claire received her medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2004 with honours and has been practicing as a doctor since 2005. She specialized in Paediatrics and has been working in this field since 2006 across various tertiary teaching paediatric hospitals, including the renowned Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and the Sydney Children's Hospital Network. She completed her Fellowship in the field of Paediatric Allergy and Immunology from the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2015.

Dr. Claire's expertise lies in diagnosing and managing children with allergic and immunological diseases like food allergies, eczema, asthma, allergic rhinitis, eosinophilic oesophagitis, immune deficiencies, and autoinflammatory conditions. She is passionate about promoting ongoing research in this field and regularly attends and presents at the annual Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) conference. She is also a founding member of the Sparcle Ball fundraising committee that raises funds for research in the Allergy and Immunology Department of Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Apart from her clinical expertise, Dr. Claire is a member of both the ASCIA Paediatric Committee and Anaphylaxis Committee. Her association with these committees helps her remain informed about policy changes that affect Australian children and their families living with allergic or immunological diseases and contribute to the same. Dr. Claire's passion for helping children with allergenic and immunological disorders is evident in her work and is a testament to her commitment and expertise in the field of Paediatrics.
