Dr Benjamin Green

Originally from Tasmania, Dr. Green is an accomplished surgeon with specific expertise in complex thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease, as well as breast cancer surgery with a focus on maintaining aesthetic outcomes post-surgery. Dr. Green completed his medical degree in Tasmania and undertook advanced general surgical training in Brisbane at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where he later completed a year of post-fellowship training in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. He also completed an additional year of fellowship training at the North West Private Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital as the Ramsay Health Breast and Endocrine Fellow. Dr. Green has a specialist interest in complex thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease, and he is also highly committed to breast cancer surgery and breast reconstruction. He is a current board member of BreastSurgANZ and the current chair of the post-fellowship training program in Breast surgery and course coordinator for the University of Sydney Oncoplastic Masters course. Currently serving as the Staff Specialist Breast and Endocrine Surgeon at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Dr. Green is also a Visiting Surgeon to St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospital, where he consults with patients and performs surgeries. Additionally, he is a visiting surgeon at North West Private Hospital. Dr. Green has effectively combined extensive knowledge of surgical technique with a deep respect for patient autonomy and sensitivity to individual patient needs, making him a respected and admired authority in his field.
