Dr Antonije Cakar

Dr. Tony is a passionate paediatric dentist who is dedicated to improving the lives of his young patients. With over 7 years of experience in general dentistry, he decided to pursue his dream and completed the Clinical Doctorate in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Queensland. Throughout his time as a general dentist, Dr. Tony noticed the anxiety that many adults have surrounding dental treatment that often traces back to their childhood experiences. This sparked his desire to create Grow Paediatric Dentistry (Grow PD), a practice that focuses on providing children with positive dental experiences.

Dr. Tony is committed to education and believes that it is essential for improving patient care. As a visiting lecturer at the University of Queensland and Griffith University, he shares his knowledge and expertise with the dentists of tomorrow. Dr. Tony’s passion for education is further demonstrated through his contributions to peer-reviewed journals, his memberships in several professional organisations, and his role as President of the Gold Coast Dental Study club.
