Dr Ng obtained his MBChB degree and later received a PgDipCBT and GradDipMed. He also holds several additional qualifications, including an MHL, FRANZCP, FACLM, and Cert (POA). These qualifications demonstrate his dedication to ongoing professional development and expertise in his field.

As a psychiatrist, Dr Ng has a special interest in schizophrenia. He also has expertise in various areas, including psychogeriatrics, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), general adult psychiatry, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and cognitive disorders.
