Dr. Thomas Oh is a highly skilled and accomplished surgeon with extensive experience in general surgery, breast surgery, and endocrine disorders. He completed medical school at the University of New South Wales, followed by surgical training at Westmead Hospital. After his training, he received fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and pursued a year of fellowship in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at the level 1 trauma center, Westmead Hospital. He then went on to complete his breast endocrine surgical fellowship at the Centre for Breast Health, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, and at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
Dr. Oh's special interest and experience in treatment of breast cancer and reconstruction, thyroid/parathyroid disorders, hernia, biliary surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and skin lesions make him an asset to the medical community. Dr. Oh works closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes pathologists, radiation and medical oncologists at Strathfield Private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital, to ensure seamless integration of all the required treatments for breast cancer.
Currently, Dr. Oh works as a consultant surgeon at Westmead Private Hospital and Westmead Hospital. His passion for continuing medical education has led him to participate in research and publish articles in international journals. By being a fellow/member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Breast Surgeons Australia and New Zealand, Dr. Oh is held to high standards in his field, and patients can trust they will receive expert care.
