Dr Sinan Albayati

Dr Sinan Albayati is a skilled surgeon with a passion for providing comprehensive care to his patients. Originally from New Zealand, he obtained his medical degree from Otago University before moving to Australia to pursue his surgical training. He trained in General Surgery and obtained fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. From there, he undertook advanced training in Colorectal Surgery in some of the most prestigious hospitals in the country, including Bankstown-Lidcombe, Westmead, and Liverpool Hospitals. In addition, he completed the formal Colorectal Surgical training program run by the Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ANZTBCRS) and is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).

Dr Albayati's commitment to excellence in his field is evident in his pursuit of additional qualifications. In 2015, he completed a Master of Surgery (Colorectal) at the University of Sydney, and he is currently working towards a PhD at UNSW focused on assessing the operative and non-operative management of rectal prolapse.

As a surgeon, Dr Albayati firmly believes in patient-centered care.
