A/Prof Shane White

Associate Professor Shane White is a very experienced medical oncologist and consultant at Warringal Private Hospital, located in Heidelberg, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. With expertise in treating all solid tumour cancers, he has developed a particular interest in breast and lung cancers and has taken on leadership roles in the breast and lung cancer clinics at The Austin Hospital. He also heads up Medical Oncology at The Northern Hospital.

Shane obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University in 1991. Following his medical degree, he pursued further education and training, obtaining his doctorate at The Christie Cancer Centre in the United Kingdom. In 2000, he successfully completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Additionally, Shane completed a two-year post-graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine.

As a Principal Investigator on numerous international clinical research studies through The Ludwig Institute, Shane is well-versed in the latest treatment options and protocols, providing his patients with access to cutting-edge therapies as well as established ones.
