Dr Shane O'Neill

Dr O'Neill is a highly experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a passion for providing excellent patient care. With over 18 years in the field, he has honed his skills and is an expert in the most cutting-edge techniques. He currently resides in the Northern Beaches of NSW and operates from a range of private and public hospitals.

Dr O'Neill completed his medical degree in 2000 at Monash University. Following this, he completed his internship and residency at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne before undertaking several years of general surgical training. He was then accepted into the National Plastics Program at Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney, where he completed an additional five years of advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

After becoming a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr O'Neill furthered his education by undertaking a Fellowship in Dublin, Ireland, with a focus on breast reconstruction and hand surgery. As a result, he has attained European Hand Surgery qualifications and has access to cutting-edge techniques and training.
