Dr Peter Willsher

Dr. Peter Willsher is a renowned Breast Surgeon, with extensive experience in the management of breast diseases available at his practice located within Hollywood Private Hospital. Dr. Willsher graduated from the University of Melbourne medical school before completing his surgical training in Melbourne.

His career saw him move to the UK where he spent time at the Nottingham City Hospital Breast Centre where he was both a Clinical and Research Fellow, earning a Doctorate of Medicine. During this time, Dr. Willsher's thesis focused on biological changes in breast cancer. He then traveled to Toronto, Canada, where he completed a Minimal Access Surgery Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital.

In recognition of his abilities and work, Dr. Willsher received the International Guest Scholar award from the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Willsher is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons, and he has published approximately 100 abstracts and papers and has contributed two book chapters.

Dr. Willsher currently serves as the Chairman of the Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA. He provides surgical services to many patients of BCRC-WA from his practice located at Hollywood Private Hospital. His vast experience and knowledge in breast cancer treatment and management have made him a leading authority in his field, helping patients through testing times with unparalleled care and expertise.
