Dr Bindu Kunjuraman

Dr. Bindu is an experienced Australian trained general surgeon with over 25 years of experience both in Australia and overseas. She is dedicated to providing quality care and prioritises her time with each patient, spending ample time for discussion and treatment planning. Dr. Bindu is fluent in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Arabic for patients who may need their treatment to be explained in their preferred language.

Dr. Bindu specialises in treating breast cancer, and all cancer cases are discussed in multidisciplinary meetings with other experts in the field, such as oncologists, radiologists, and nuclear physicians, to ensure the treatment plans and management are in line with international standards.

Dr. Bindu is happy to be contacted by GP's for any queries or emergency referrals. She has a full-time receptionist to attend to patients' and weekend calls, making her services accessible and available to patients. She is also a no-gap provider for consultations and operations, making her services affordable.

Dr. Bindu is skilled in partial and full reconstruction surgery of the breast following breast cancer surgery. She also handles all other elective general surgical problems. Aftercare is timely with long-term surveillance assured as she prioritises her patient’s health. Letters and reports are sent to the GP's promptly following consultations via Health Link.
