Dr Ben King

Dr Benjamin King is a highly skilled and experienced cardiologist specialising in electrophysiology and pacing. He obtained his MBBS with Honours from the University of Western Australia Medical School in 2003 and went on to complete his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at Royal Perth and Fremantle hospitals. Dr King then sought international experience in London, UK before further advancing his knowledge in electrophysiology and pacing at the University Health Network / University of Toronto in Canada.

Currently, Dr King serves as the clinical lead of the Ventricular Tachycardia service at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He is renowned for his expertise in all forms of pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices. Dr King is also proficient in performing a wide range of ablations, including supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation (AF), ventricular tachycardia (VT), and arrhythmias in adult congenital heart disease.

Driven by a patient-centered approach, Dr King strives to provide tailored treatment plans, ensuring individualized care for each of his patients. He is deeply committed to advancing the field of cardiac care and actively engages in research. His contributions have been published in numerous international journals, and he has served on national and international advisory boards.

In addition to his role at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Dr King is affiliated with the Mount Hospital and St John of God Hospital Murdoch.
