Dr Ashok Shah

Dr. Ashok J Shah is a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiologist specialising in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He obtained his medical degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University in India and went on to receive his doctoral degree in Cardiology from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Shah further honed his expertise by completing a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Michigan State University, where he is registered with the Board of Medicine. He has also achieved certification as a Cardiac Device Specialist of the Heart Rhythm Society in the USA.

With a commitment to providing exceptional cardiology care, Dr. Shah recently relocated from France to Mandurah in Western Australia. He holds a position at Peel Health Campus, where he serves as a Cardiologist in the public hospital and is available for private consultations. Dr. Shah's extensive experience in Electrophysiology and his proficiency in handling complex arrhythmias have earned him a solid reputation in the field of Cardiology.

In 2009, Dr. Shah joined Professor Michel Haissaguerre's team in Bordeaux, France, for advanced clinical electrophysiology training and research. He spent two years at the prestigious Centre Hopitalier Universitaire (CHU) and L’Institut Rythmologie et Modeling Cardiaque (LIRYC) in Bordeaux, where he worked as a staff clinical electrophysiologist and researcher.

Despite his many achievements, Dr. Shah remains deeply committed to delivering high-quality clinical care and management to patients with Electrophysiology-associated Atrial Fibrillation (EP-AF). Currently residing in Mandurah, he eagerly serves the community through Peel Health Campus and private consultations.
