Dr Padmini Menon is a highly accomplished medical oncologist based in Everton Park, Brisbane. She is a specialist in the field of oncology and has a particular interest in breast, lung, and gastrointestinal/hepato-biliary tumours, as well as head and neck cancers.
Dr Menon obtained her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Calicut in India. Following her tertiary studies, she completed five years of supervised training at renowned hospitals such as Princess Alexandra Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, St Vincent's Private Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, and Tweed Heads Hospital.
She holds several qualifications, including a Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine (2002) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Medical Oncology (2017) and the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (2018). Dr Menon is an active member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and is passionate about medical education. Throughout her career, she has trained medical students and trainees.
Currently, Dr Menon holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine and is also an Associate Lecturer at Griffith University. Additionally, she is actively involved in research and has presented her work at various international conferences. She is a member of several clinical research groups and committees, including the EVIQ Reference Committee.
Dr Menon will be consulting at North West Private Hospital, North Lakes, and Morayfield, offering medical oncology and palliative care services.
