Dr Piksi Singh

Dr Piksi Singh is a highly qualified and experienced Gynaecological Oncologist, practicing at North West Private Hospital since June 2011. She specialises in the management of all known and suspected cancers of the female genital tract, colposcopy, and pre-invasive conditions of the cervix, vagina, and vulva. In addition, Dr Singh has a keen interest in managing women with hereditary familial gynaecological cancers, gestational trophoblastic disease, and vulval reconstructive surgeries. She is trained in performing complex minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

Originally from India, Dr Piksi obtained her postgraduate Obstetric and Gynaecological qualifications in 1994 and worked as a consultant in leading teaching institutions in New Delhi before moving to Australia in 2003. She further underwent sub-specialty training in Gynaecological Oncology in Adelaide, Newcastle, and Brisbane, attaining her Certified Gynaecological Oncologist (CGO) in 2008. Additionally, Dr Piksi has acquired additional surgical training in re-secting upper abdominal disease in advanced gynaecological malignancies and in robotic surgery in the United States.

As a senior staff specialist at the Gold Coast, Royal Hobart, and Christchurch Women’s Hospitals, Dr Piksi excels in providing continued and comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer care to women in close liaison with medical and radiation oncologists. She is committed to clinical and translational research and has authored multiple papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
