Dr Madeleine Cooke

Dr. Madeleine Cooke is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in women's healthcare. She has an extensive background working in renowned hospitals such as Toowoomba Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, Ipswich Hospital, and Mater Hospital. Dr. Cooke's dedication to helping rural women led her to undertake rotations at Wangaratta Public Hospital, Traralgon Hospital, and Tamworth Base Hospital.

Prior to her medical career, Dr. Cooke completed a Bachelor of Applied Science with First-Class Honours (Hons.1) at the University of Queensland, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence. Throughout her practice, she has demonstrated a passion for continuous learning, particularly focusing on developing skills in laparoscopic surgery and staying up-to-date with evidence-based obstetric and gynecological care.

She and her husband have raised three wonderful children and have a close connection to the South Burnett region and surrounding areas due to their many years of farming in the area.
