Dr Neva Shebini, a highly qualified psychiatrist, brings her expertise to Ramsay Cairns as she joins The Cairns Clinic. Dr Shebini completed her medical training at Guys, Kings and St Thomas medical schools in the United Kingdom and is currently based at the Brighton Clinic in Queensland.

Following her graduation in 2002, Dr Shebini took time off from medicine to teach English in an international language school in South Sinai, Egypt. From 2005 to 2012, she undertook her psychiatry training with South West London and St Georges mental health NHS trust, gaining valuable experience in various sub-specialties across South West London, including the renowned Priory Hospital in Roehampton.

Dr Shebini's special interests lie in the areas of early psychosis, addictions, and general adult psychiatry. With extensive experience in these fields, she provides expert assessment and treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, trauma-related conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), ADHD, and early psychosis. In addition to her academic pursuits in psychiatry, Dr Shebini is also passionate about adventure and travel. She is a divemaster and has enjoyed scuba diving in various locations worldwide. With her qualifications as an Integrative Psychiatrist and Trauma Psychiatrist, Dr Neva Shebini offers trauma-informed psychiatry and integrative medicine services.
