Dr Margaret Mcgrath

Dr Margaret McGrath is a highly qualified medical oncologist with over two decades of experience in the field. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Queensland in 1997. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr McGrath embarked on advanced training in Medical Oncology at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals in 2003.

In 2008, Dr McGrath achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) after gaining valuable experience in various areas of medical oncology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals. Building on her expertise, she joined Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in 2009 as a prominent Staff Specialist, where she continues to serve.

Dr McGrath actively participates in the multi-disciplinary clinics for lung, upper-gastrointestinal, and head and neck cancers at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
