Dr Kyle Kowalewski

Dr Kyle Kowalewski is a compassionate and skilled General & Laparoscopic Surgeon with a subspecialty in Breast Surgery. His expertise includes the management of both Benign and Malignant Breast Disease, as well as Skin Cancer Surgery. Dr Kyle pursued his undergraduate degree in Biology in Canada before attending the University of Sydney Medical School, where he completed his internship and began his career as a junior medical officer. He later moved to Queensland, where he spent several years as a senior medical officer before completing his specialist training in General Surgery in collaboration with General Surgeons Australia (GSA) and becoming a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2014.

During his training, Dr Kyle developed a particular interest in breast cancer management. This interest led him to seek subspecialty training through the BreastSurgANZ in Christchurch, New Zealand, and later as a Surgical Oncology Fellow at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, where he expanded his subspecialty to include skin cancer surgery.

Dr Kyle is committed to providing patient-centered care with a compassionate and personalised approach to treatment planning and follow-up support for each patient. He is a member of various professional organisations, including the RACS, GSA, and Breast Surgeons Australia (BreastSurgANZ). His extensive training and experience make him a valuable asset to his patients and the medical community alike.
