Dr Krishan Rasiah

Dr. Kris Rasiah is a highly qualified and experienced urological surgeon with a passion for helping patients overcome challenging medical conditions. He obtained his medical degree with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1992, before completing a rigorous postgraduate training program in surgery and urology at several esteemed hospitals in Sydney. After receiving his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002, Kris pursued a research fellowship in prostate cancer at the Garvan Institute and received his PhD from the University of NSW in 2006.

Kris's expertise and interests encompass a wide range of urological conditions and treatments, including general urology, urinary tract stones, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), and laparoscopic and robotic surgery. However, his primary focus is on the treatment of urogenital cancers, such as prostate, renal, and bladder cancer. He completed his advanced training in urological surgery for cancer at Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge under the tutelage of Professor David Neal in 2004 and 2005.

A firm believer in adopting a holistic approach to patient care, Kris is highly regarded for his ability to tailor treatments to the unique needs and circumstances of each individual patient.
