Dr. Crawford is an accomplished Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgeon with a passion for teaching and research. She obtained her Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2004 and was awarded Fellowship in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012.
Dr. Crawford's commitment to advancing her field led her to complete additional subspecialty training abroad, including a six-month ENT subspecialty training as a Clinical Fellow in Sleep Surgery and Head and Neck surgery at Wollongong Hospital, and a two-year Clinical Fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgery, Robotic and Reconstructive Surgery at Celebration Health, Orlando, Florida.
During her fellowship, she trained extensively in the treatment of cancers with robotic surgery under Prof J. Scott Magnuson, a pioneer in the field. Dr. Crawford also co-initiated the St Vincent’s Head and Neck Surgery Cadaver Course and continues to be a course director for the International Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Course, which provides training in the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea to surgeons from around the world.
Dr. Crawford is an appointed member of the RACS NSW State Committee and serves as an Executive member of the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society. She has published extensively on the application of Robotic Surgery in Head and Neck Cancers and regularly participates in educational events worldwide to train other ENT surgeons in robotic surgical techniques.
With her unparalleled passion for teaching, research, and advocacy for her field, Dr. Crawford has established herself as a respected and skilled surgeon in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
