Dr Tom Stewart is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon who graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2007. He furthered his medical education by obtaining a Masters of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology from the same university. Dr Stewart then gained valuable experience in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery before joining the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery training program in New South Wales in 2014. He became a fellow in 2019 after completing the training scheme successfully. Dr Stewart also completed the United States Medical Licencing Examinations, obtained his New York State Medical Licence and undertook subspecialty training in Laryngology and Neuro-Laryngology in New York City, which few ENT Surgeons in Australia have achieved. Dr Stewart trained under the guidance of Dr Andrew Blitzer, a world leader in this field, and learnt advanced skills in laryngeal in-office surgery and intralaryngeal botulinum toxin therapy. He is affiliated with prestigious organisations such as the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeons, Laryngological Society of Australasia, the Australian Voice Association and the Doctor Liang Voice Program and the University of Sydney. Dr Stewart's extensive training took place across several prestigious tertiary metropolitan hospitals in Sydney, including the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital. He is proficient in all aspects of general ENT and has a growing interest in paediatric general ENT. Being a father of two young children, he is passionate about paediatric care and recognizes the particular needs and challenges of children. Dr Stewart is a highly accomplished ENT Surgeon with more than a decade of clinical experience.
