Dr Joanne Sargeant

Dr Joanne Sargeant completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and has been a practicing psychiatrist since 2010. With a special interest in child and adolescent psychiatry, she is trained in medicine and adult and child psychiatry.

Dr Sargeant's primary practicing suburb is Woolloongabba in Brisbane, Queensland. She has been working in full-time private practice in this area since 2003, providing care to children, teenagers, and their families. She believes in the importance of continuity of care, ensuring that her patients receive ongoing support into their adult years when necessary.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Sargeant has also been involved in medical education. She has lectured medical students in Child Psychiatry and served as a supervisor for trainee Child Psychiatrists.
